I just received my box of of Ryders Eyewear<\/a> for the 2013 season this week and was anxious to try out the Hijacks. <\/p>\n

\"Hijacks<\/a>Since this time of year I’m doing a lot of long easy rides, I like to have a good pair of glasses for eye protection and sun protection when necessary. The really cool thing about the Hijacks I received are that they have this photochromic technology. That’s a fancy word for they adjust to the sunlight so you don’t have to swap out lenses during your ride. You can read more about that on the Ryders Eyewear website linked at the bottom of this page.

First impressions of these sunglasses are that they were really comfortable and light. I tested them out on a 19 mile single track loop and figured this particular trail would give me the time to get a good idea of their performance. I’ve included an image of what most of this trail looks like.<\/p>\n

The Hijacks were great! I never fogged up during the ride and my line of sight was perfect. I love when you can use a product, especially sport specific eyewear, and not have to think about them. I’ve tried other big name brands in the past and these sunglasses out performed them. The Hijacks certainly lived up to the description on their website.<\/p>\n
