Recently I was given the opportunity to travel to Bellingham, WA to hang out and ride with my friends at Transition Bikes<\/a>. This trip came to me as part of a “care package” from Kevin Menard at Transition Bikes. I had just lost my wife Susan<\/a> and they felt that I needed a break from things. What an incredible gesture!<\/p>\n

When I received this gift I was in shock. I had already started to plan a trip out there to get away. Now, I had no excuses not to travel back to Bellingham! <\/p>\n

One of my goals for this trip was to leave some of Susan’s ashes at one of the amazing views found in the area. The guys understood this and would wind up taking me on a long difficult climb way up to an awesome view of Bellingham Bay. Ironically, this ride was symbolic of Susan’s life. This was an emotional ride for me, especially once we reached our destination. <\/p>\n
