Zine 02: Low Light Photography

After the first zine, I knew the next one needed a theme. Zine 01 was a little of everything. For Zine 02 I went after the shots I like most, the ones taken when the light is almost gone.

It’s called Low Light, and it’s another eight pages of photos from around Washington. The cover is a campfire burning orange against the dark. Inside you’ll find northern lights, a train crossing at night, a rider on a motorcycle at sunset, a performer spinning glowing hoops, and a cyclist with lit-up wheels. Low light is hard to shoot, and I think the pictures are better for it. You have to slow down, hold still, and work with whatever light there is.

I love the challenge and the look of low light photography, I hope you find these photos as interesting as I do!

It works like Zine 01. It’s a $5 PDF, and you print and fold it at home on letter or A4 paper at full size with no borders. The folding diagram is in the listing, and the back cover has my Instagram QR code again.

If you grabbed Zine 01, the two make a good pair. One is daytime and color, the other is after dark.
